To those who recognize it, the name "Blossom Dearie" rarely fails to raise a smile. Most know her as an icon of the 1950s and 1960s international jazz scene, or possibly as the girlish soprano voice on favorite "School House Rock" segments. Increasingly and sadly, most donʼt know her at all. Little is known about her life outside of her career. In "A Blossom, Dearie!," author and director Rebecca Ungerman and stars Annie Ellicott and Sarah Maud take you on a fictionalized version of the revolutionary singer/songwriterʼs life. "A Blossom, Dearie!" is a story of artistry, feminism, politics and, above all, music. * contact the Venue listed below for ticketing information
