This will be the fastest 5k you will ever run! The Infected is a fast paced, nighttime, run or die, 5k obstacle event. A group of infected zombies will be set loose in your area, ready to infect a huge pack of healthy, soon to be victims. They will be trying to eat as many brains as possible, converting the healthy to the infected undead along the way. This event will be ran at dusk. so if your scared of the dark, or zombies, chainsaws, or other things that go bump in the night, don't be surprised if you find yourself sprinting to the finish line screaming the whole way. There are two registration groups, the Zombies( the chasers) and the Living (soon to be victims). You can either register as a Zombie or the Living. There are limited amount of zombie spots open, so register early if you want to be a zombie. Zombie runners have to be in character. Zombies will start 1 minute after the Living, soon to be infected runners. Also, zombies will be able to go around obstacles, unlike the living, in order to catch up to as many victims as they can.Register as a zombie volunteer, to dress up as a zombie, and to scare people out of their running shoes....Volunteers get free Infected t-shirts!
