A multicultural, multigenerational band that consists of Killa Wes, Lead singer, songwriter and arranger/producer. His vocals abilities range from Reggae/Rock to lyrical hip-hop. He is a driving force behind production and engineering of Risk's first album "Chances and Consequences". MikeyDread 007, Rhythm guitar, Lead guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Songwriter, Backup vocals, Musical arranger and executive producer. MikeyDread is the musical sage and mentor for Risk on da Disk. Monsta Hood, Lead guitarist, Rhythm Guitar, Bass and songwriter. Monsta Hood brings back a genuine sound that is rarely heard in today's music, with his unique style of play. We pride ourselves on our original music and lyrics that are an infusion of a diverse range of genres. Our music comes from our wide array of influences, such as Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, The Beatles, Linkin Park, even all the way to Outkast and PM Dawn. We use our life's happenings as the basis for our music. Our music tells our stories. There is nothing we won't risk. R.I.S.K on Da Disk. "R.I.S.K. On Da Disk" a country folk, reggae blues rock, hip hop band. "The only one of it's kind." Sticky Stranglets "Sticky Stranglets is an alternative rock band from Oklahoma City. The band’s debut record, Scissor Hissy, is an ode to doing things yourself; the band recorded, produced, and released the album completely on their own. Sonically, Sticky Stranglets are a band that sounds like they grew up on and love them some ‘90s alternative rock. Depending on the song, Scissor Hissy goes from a fuzzy Smashing Pumpkins vibe to a funky Faith No More vibe to a bouncy Dave Matthews Band vibe. There are also darker hints of things like Type O Negative (see “Inertia”) and a smidgen of Alice In Chains meets Morrissey (on “There Is”). What Sticky Stranglets does well is mixes these divergent influences to create a sound and vibe that is all their own. I’m definitely interested to see what this band does next." - Dave Brown, Oklahoma Lefty (Apr 15, 2012) $5.00
