Young talent is in bloom in Broken Arrow!
This must see art show, “Artists of the Future”, will feature young artists from age 10 to 25 years old. “Artists of the Future” is presented by The Broken Arrow Arts and Humanities Council. Each artist will exhibit their creativity and show their own unique style and approach to expressing themselves. Among the inspired artwork, you will find things created from pastels, clay, concrete, yarn, leather, found objects and more. Our local innovative youth will surprise you with their techniques and the materials they use to create with. Don’t let their ages fool you! You will be amazed at the amount of budding talent our community has.
For one night only, you will have an opportunity to meet these young artists and support them as they aspire to do what they love.
The show will feature a large variety of artwork and will be available for viewing at Your Design for 3 weeks following the opening night.
Opening Night: July 11h, 6pm – 9pm
Duration of Show: July 11th – July 27th
Host: Your Design
Address: 211 S. Main, Broken Arrow, OK 74012
Opening night will include refreshments, live entertainment and a great opportunity to support our enthusiastic youth.
In addition, opening night coincides with Broken Arrow Main Street’s “Open Late ‘Till 8pm”. Shops on Main Street will be open late for you to visit, shop, benefit from great specials and enjoy. Usually this is the 1st Thursday of every month, but has been moved for observation of the holiday. Plan on dinner from one of our great restaurants and an evening of entertainment and shopping!
Local artists and crafters are encouraged to set up along Main Street for “Open Late ‘Till 8pm”. This opportunity is for artist to have a reliable and safe place to sell artwork.
The Oklahoma State Arts Council and the Broken Arrow Convention and Visitors Bureau provide grant money to the Broken Arrow Arts and Humanities Council that help make events like this possible for our community.
