While we still wait to see how The Rolling Stones will mark their 50th anniversary, you can take a look at their history in pictures -- if you find yourself in England this summer. The band's officially sanctioned free photographic exhibit will be held from July 13th through August 27th at Somerset House in London.

In a statement the band says, "This is our story of 50 fantastic years. We started out as a blues band playing the clubs and more recently we've filled the largest stadiums in the world with the kind of show that none of us could have imagined all those years ago."

The Stones made their live debut on July 12th, 1962 at the Marquee Club in London. --Sal Cirrincione
