Stones & Aerosmith: Talkin Blues

Keith Richards, his former bandmate Bill Wyman and Aerosmith's Joe Perry have been talking about the blues.

Richards and Perry are featured in a documentary about musician David "Honeyboy" Edwards, who passed away last August at age 96. Honeyboy and the History of the Blues also includes interviews with Robert Cray, B.B. King and Lucinda Williams.

Wyman is featured in a new book called Blues Scholars by Stephanie Thorburn. It looks at such blues legends as B B King and John Lee Hooker, whose "Boogie Chillen," says Wyman, "changed the whole blues scene forever. It influenced a whole host of blues artists and still makes my hair stand up on the back of my head whenever I hear it. I've got 18 John Lee Hooker albums in my collection, and I wouldn't swap them for anything!" --Sal Cirrincione
